Universal Ads sets a daily spending limit for new advertisers that starts at $1,000 and increases over time as advertisers build a track record of successful payments and consistent spend. This limit represents the maximum amount you can spend on ads in a given day and helps protect your account while maintaining platform safety. Once the limit is reached, your ads will pause and automatically resume the next day when the cap resets.
How Daily Spend Limits Work
New advertisers are assigned a daily spending limit that caps total spend across all campaigns within an organization.
- Caps begin at $1,000 per day
- Limits are applied at the organization level, not per campaign or ad account
- Daily caps reset at 12:00 AM Eastern time
- Limits increase as spend and successful payment activity grows
- Once a consistent pattern of successful payment activity is established, the limit is lifted and daily caps no longer apply at the organization level
If the advertiser reaches their daily limit, campaign delivery will pause until the next day when the limit resets.
Daily spend limits cannot be adjusted directly by the advertiser within the UI. If an advertiser has a valid business case for increasing or removing the limit sooner, they should reach out to their account representative or submit a request at https://help.universalads.com/hc/en-us/requests/new.
