When you create a campaign, you can set a daily or lifetime budget for your campaign. You will also be required to set an ad set daily and lifetime budget, but this will never override your campaign budget.
A daily budget is the average amount you’re willing to spend on a specific ad set each day.
Daily budgets follow the calendar day, meaning the budget you set applies to each day.
For example: If you set a daily budget of $50 and your ad runs from 1 PM today to 1 PM tomorrow, the budget will work over two calendar days. You’ll have up to $50 to spend until midnight today and another $50 to spend until 1 PM tomorrow.
A lifetime budget is the total amount you’re willing to spend over the course of your campaign. Keep in mind that your lifetime budget may not be spent evenly across each day.
