To create and assign a pixel to an ad set, follow these steps:
Select Conversions as your campaign objective when creating a campaign.
- At ad set creation, under the Delivery section, toggle the pixel option to on.
From the drop-down menu, select Create Pixel.
In the free-form text box, name your pixel. Please note the pixel name has a minimum character length of 3 and a maximum character length of 100.
Select the event type from the following list
- Landing Page
- Lead
- Sign Up
- Purchase
- Other
Choose the attribution window (7, 14, or 30 days).
- Toggle to create a custom audience from this pixel if desired.
- Review and accept the Pixel Terms.
- Select Create Pixel.
After selecting Create Pixel, the system will generate a snippet of JavaScript code and provide instructions for implementing it on your website. The pixel and event information will then be saved to your ad account, making it accessible in the pixel dropdown during ad set creation.
