Ad Viewer Retargeting allows you to create audiences based on users who have viewed your ads – even if they did not click or convert.
This feature allows you to:
- Build audiences from anyone who viewed your ads to re-engage high-intent users who may not have taken action yet
- Retarget viewers from your ad account or from a specific campaign
How to Create an Ad Viewer Audience:
- Open the Audience Library by selecting Audiences from the hamburger menu.
- In the Audience Library, select Ad Viewers and click Continue
- Enter your audience details including:
- Audience Name
- Description
- Retention Period (7, 14, 30, 60, 90, or 180 days)
- Ad Viewer Source
- Entire ad account, or
- A specific campaign
- Once the audience has been created, the new audience will appear in the Audience Library.
To use this audience in a campaign, navigate to the Custom Audiences section at the ad set level and select your Ad Viewer audience from the list.
Note: You can only select one Ad Viewer source per audience. Combining multiple Ad Viewer rules using and/or logic is not available at this time.
