To create a customer audience within the Audience Library, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Audience Library section.
- Click Create New Audience and a new modal will appear.
In the modal, you can:
- Enter an Audience Name in the text field along with a Description
- Upload a file in .csv and .txt format (maximum file upload size is 25MB).
- Select the Audience Data Type
Note: If you're uploading a new audience for the first time, you must accept Universal Ad’s Custom Audience Matching Terms. You only need to complete this step once.
- Drag and drop your customer list file into the upload area or select the file manually. Alternatively, you can copy and paste the values directly onto the upload page.
- Once your audience has been created you can select the three vertical dots to edit or delete your audience.
Note: for a successful upload, please ensure your file has 1,000 valid unique records that follow the formatting rule of one record per row and no headers. Processing can take up to 48 hours, if the status is pending for over an hour select the chat icon in the bottom right to contact us.
